St. Patrick's is a Catholic Maintained College, catering for approximately 506 pupils from Ballymena and surrounding parishes.

The College caters for both boys and girls in the 11 - 18 age range.

The admission criteria for pupils is determined by the Board of Governors, administered by the Principal and published in the NEELB Transfer Booklet.

Arrangements are made each year for an Open Night when prospective pupils and parents may view the school and meet the staff.
